I started using msn messenger and i'm concerned that it may be using text messages..I have the bb plan through t-mobile but I dont have any texts each month..so I hope its not lol. Also, is there anyway to check my usage without signing into t-mobile?

If it's the MSN messenger that came with the device then it doesn't use text. It uses data.
