Default Desktop Manager causing BSOD - 02-27-2008, 12:04 PM

I installed Blackberry Desktop Manager so that I can upgrade the phones OS but everytime I try to upgrade I get BSOD saying PFN_LIST_CURRUPT. I tried it on my laptop first and after 3 crashes I decided it wasnt going to work so I tried it on my desktop only to get the same result. Laptop is running Vista Ultimate and the desktop is running Vista Home Premium. Anyone know why this is happening?

I don't think that version is compatible with Vista. Make sure you're using DM 4.2 SP2 or 4.3.

BlackBerry - BlackBerry - Sys Req V4-2 Pack 2

And make sure when you install the file you right click on the .exe file and select "Run as Administrator."
