Hello Everyone

O.k. I am about to burn my blackberry server, however before I do this I thaught I might join up to see if you guys can help me.

I had a server running 4.1.3 Bundle 37 and am wanting to upgrade to 4.1.4 to help out with office 2007 documents.

I was trying to upgrade using the download from RIM. I was getting an error message.

"The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because the program to be upgraded my be missing or the upgrade patch my update a different version of the program"

I was advised to run "besx-upgrader_4.1.4.exe"
I get through the initial install and then on reboot it is asking for a MDS name and password.

We arn't using MDS so my question is this. How can i finish this update without using mds and will this then enable me to install 4.1.4 MR5

Any help would be great
