Default Weird issue - 07-24-2005, 10:49 PM

One of our employees received a meeting request for a meeting that shows up in Outlook to occur on July 21, 2005, but showed up in the Blackberry for the same meeting to occur on Dec. 31, 1969.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

The blackberry is otherwise synchronizing fine, and updating the date and time just fine. What else could I check that might have caused this?

How much free space is there on this device, I once had a cust with that issue and they had very, veryh little free space left on the device, after cleaning unused files it worked perfectly.. I would take a look at that first...

Try doing a complete backup of the device and then restore that backup back into it. That can resolve some database issues.

I believe Dec 31, 1969 is year zero in java. Any date that is all zeros will display as Dec 31, 1969 when converted. I don't know if Rim SW uses java, but that date jumps out at me.

Regards,

Tom
