7100t Phone App question

Default 7100t Phone App question

Please Login to Remove!
When I launch my phone app, part of the display has a field that currently shows:

My Number: Unknown

Does anyone know where the 7100t is supposed to pull the data that populates this field? I thought it might be from the owner information but I have put a phone number in there and it still indicates "unknown".

I'm sure it's simple but I haven't found anything yet. :(

Masonfoley-
Go to Tools: Settings: and then select Sim Card and if you type your number in it will appear in the phone book.

Err.. what if there is no Edit Phone number option or field in the SIM area of settings?

Default Did you pop up the menu and view all options?
The phone number field doesn't show up until after you bring up the pop up menu with the scroll wheel. Then you will seen a menu option "Edit SIM Phone Number"

Once you fill that out. The phone number field shows up with the data you will have just provided.

With our 6230's we have to call into tmo and request an initial OTA load. Dunno if it's the same with 7100 though

Default It isn't necessary to OTA the parameter.
The setting is available for manual editing.

That is if all of the 7100t's were shipped with the same ROM. ;)
