Exclamation Sudden sync problems - 07-26-2005, 12:40 PM

My 7520 has worked fine for a month with my Outlook - now suddenly my contacts don't update anymore! Intellisync seems to work fine but any changes on my laptop or handheld don't go through to the other side... anybody ever get this? It's messed up, I didn't change anything.

Anyway, I'm new, so "Hi" everybody.

In IntelliSync click on Configure PIM | Click (Highlight) Address Book | click "Choose" on the right-top side and ensure that MS Outlook is selected..

The post above would be my first point of troubleshooting. Failing that you may need to consider deleting and recreating the Outlook profile, as this has been known to cause wireless sync issues with calendar items and contacts (if running version 4.0).

Thumbs up Solved! - 07-27-2005, 11:17 AM

Actually given some time to experiment, I figured this one out myself.

1. Yes MS Outlook was selected.
2. I didn't want to remove the profile as it's a combination Exchange Server account and local address book that would likely take some effort to not lose a lot of stuff in the process.
3. Here's what I did:
In the PIM Settings, I removed the Outlook Contacts as the PIM addresses sync point, Sync'd the handheld (and in the process, losing all my Outlook addresses from my handheld) then re-added the Outlook Contacts as the sync source. Sync again, and voila! A freshly minted conduit. It now updates proerly every time.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Default MS Outlook calendar won't Sync - HELP!!! - 07-29-2005, 01:49 PM

I've been using my 7280 for 6 months and upgraded to the new 4.0.1.10 desktop software. It can sync the MS Outlook address book, but is not syncing the calendar. In reviewing the "log" details, I see a message "internal error 4198".

Anyone knows what that means or having problems with MS Outlook calender?

The PIM settings, advanced settings are all correct.

HELP!!!
