Default Database specified does not exist or cannot be accessed - 04-27-2008, 07:52 PM

Hello All,

I just bought BB 8120 and BDM v4.3, but it can not sync my Lotus Notes 6.5.4 address book, i have checked the location and the file name is correct, but when synchronizing, it gives me an error "Intellisync Error: Database specified does not exist or cannot be executed"

Can you please advise? Thanks in advance

I finally got it fixed, but I am not sure whether this works for Notes 8.0.1 since I am using notes 6.5.4.
It is something to do with your mail file location on your lotus notes (BDM will check this file when it is synchronizing instead of checking the address book file)
Make sure if your mail database location is correct (if your notes mail file is not on your default location) In Notes 6 is click on File, Mobile, Edit Current Location, then check on Mail tab at Mail File (ensure that is pointing to your email database file) then save it.
