Default bb desktop - 05-04-2008, 10:47 AM

I have a curve 8310 set up on BES through my office. I installed BB Desktop on my home computer selecting the BES option. It sees my device when I plug in the phone but gives me a message that my email account is not set up and desktop redirector will generate a new encryption key. I immediately disconnected the device and canceled this operation. I have my BB dialed in. I don't want to play with any settings. All I really want to do is to be able to put pics and some ringtones on my phone and update software when needed.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

uninstall DM and reinstall it as the BIS option. use the BES option when on your corporate network.
