Default Email question - Phantom Unread Email - 05-09-2008, 04:28 PM

Hello all,

For the past several weeks, my Blackberry has indicated that I have one unread message. I have gone through my entire inbox several times, using the "U" shortcut to look for anything, and I get the "No unread message in list".

But there's that pesky yellow envelope in the corner with "1" at it's side.

I have tried turning the device off, pulling the battery out- it's still there.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jen

From message folder, bring up menu, view saved messages. See if you have an uread message there.

Also, as necessary:

Hard reset.

Hightlight most recent date at top of message folder, bring up menu, select mark prior read.

Try changing to another theme, then change back.

See if any of the above clears it.
