Default A tale of two address books - 05-27-2008, 02:38 PM

Hi Everyone:

I hope someone can help me out with this; I’m trying to set up a blackberry 7200 with desktop manager 4.2 to synchronize two address books. Here is the catch though, I need the address books to show up as different address books on the device itself, not just have all the addresses merge into the default address list on the blackberry. Basically I need the synch to pull data from two contacts lists on the exchange server and synch them as two separate address books on the device. So, is their a way to create a second address book on a 7200 and keep the synchronization from merging the data into one? Well, thanks for any info. Its greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the BBForums.

You can't have two address books in the BlackBerry. You can use filters on the contacts, but not two address books.
