Default Problem with Messenger - 06-07-2008, 03:06 PM

Hi.

I deleted BlackBerry Messenger off of my 8130 Pearl from Verizon as soon as I received it. Big mistake. Anyways, I can't go about, trying to reinstall it. I have Desktop Manager 4.3, and click "Application Loader", then the software that is already installed on my BB shows. It does not allow me to install software, unless I click "Add", in which case it prompts me to load up a .alx or .ali file. I also went to the Verizon website for the Pearl and downloaded the latest software for it as well.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try doing a master reset to get that back. It will put the device back to all of it's default settings so make sure you back up your device first or you will lose everything. That's the only suggestion I have

Try going to mobile.blackberry.com on the default BB browser. Go to applications. At the bottom of the page is a link to download BB Messenger.

Good luck,

Wanda
