Default how to set up email?

Please Login to Remove!

hey guys,

I've used RIM phones for a while now, but just put on the data plan on my 8100 pearl. I'm looking to set up my email account, and need some help. How do I set up an account to sync with what gets delivered to my outlook (pop3)? Basically, I want all emails to get delivered to my phone and my desktop, but when I delete from my phone, it'll delete from my outlook too...vice versa.

Any help? Thanks!

Total integration only really works right with Yahoo right now.

And I am not knocking any other provider, personally I like Gmail, but I don't care about being able to delete on both.

When you set up the account did you do it from the BB or the website, and is the bb new or used.

You might have to call AT&T to reset your account and PIN and then you could create a new account. Another option for the email would be to foward it to your AT&T account for instant delivery, but you won't have the reconcile.

yea, i'd rather have the option to reconcile. I get a lot of email to this one account, because of a listserv, and to have to double-check everything will get annoying.

ah, wait...so I ran into a problem.

I was able to set up my account (psu.edu), and can send emails...but I can't receive them? They get downloaded to my Outlook on my laptop...the message is set to stay on the server for 5 days...but it isn't getting delivered to my BB?

Any suggestions?

Every thing is good on the BIS site, do you receive the service book when sent. and have you allowed some time, they say it takes about 20 min when first set up.
