Default Whats the best Browser Setings?

Please Login to Remove!

I get on a lot of forums from my 8700c, mainly running vBulletin but varying versions... And I keep messing with the browser settings.... Java Scripts, HTML support, foreground and background colors... style sheets... but I get mixed results depending on which forum I'm on...

One of the bigest problems I've found is when I reply to a post, the browser acts like it's updating but the screen returns to the text input box instead of showing me what I posted... If I hit the reply button again I get the dreaded duplicate post and redirected message....

Anyone having this problem and what setting do you use on either browser when surfing?

Thanks

Do any of the forums you visit have a wap site for mobile browsers? For example wap.blackberryforums.com

If not, you may have some better luck using the Opera Mini browser.

Nope.... None have that option although a couple have mobile setting that basically put you in almost a text mode... which really sucks... lol I've never heard of Opera Mini browser before so I'll google it and check it out... Thanks!!

Take a look at it. It may not be the best option for you. If it doesn't suit you, you can always delete it. I use it as an alternative browser.

http://www.operamini.com/download/wa...ckberry_8700c/

From your phone, go to http://mini.opera.com/ and click on download.

And I just found out something cool.... If you were on the blackberry browser and "D" out to the front page and then open Opera Mini... When you get done with OM.... Your BB browser session is still intact... I love multi-tasking!! lol
