Does anyone know how to get past level 5? I seem to always have one brick on the far right trapped in between bricks that eat up my lives?

Also where can I find instructions, scoring rules, etc?

I'm not sure what you mean by a brick trapped in between bricks? If you mean the steel or metal brick if you get the gun bonus you can shoot it with that and that'll get rid of it.

I finally broke 30,000! Took over a year of playing on long plane trips. What an addicting game! Ended up at 31290. I momentarily saw 20 lives during the 2nd round through; first time I had ever seen that many lives. Game lasted the better part of 2 hours....

ha. a post about brickbreaker, about 2 years ago. although i cannot say that i have not put many hours into that game.

My girlfriend took the brickbreaker icon off the blackberry!!! How do I get it back?

Launch Desktop Manager, Application Loader. You should see a checkbox to add it. Just follow the prompts and you should be good.

How do you change the brick breaker password? It keeps telling me that there is an incorrect password when I finish a game. I think it's trying to post the score.

i too deleted the brickbreaker icon only b/c thats what the rep told me when i was having problems with my memory its not on my app loader any one else know how to get it back?

I've reached Level 9 and my ball has disappeared. My paddle still moves, but the ball doesn't come back. I still have 12 lives, so don't want to lose. Is there a way to get the ball back without aborting the game?

o my gosh same thing just happened to me!! i finally got to level 31!!! so far it has been a huge accomplishment to make it past 16. and i still have 7 lives left. im so mad!

Just happened to me as well. I was on level 29. Only 5 lives left, but I was about to beat my high score. I waited to see if the ball would come back on its own, but nothing. If anyone has a trick to get it back, it would be appreciated. I haven't reset the game yet.

Please excuse my ignorance but is there a way of getting a lot more lives? Some of you have mentioned having all these lives. The highest I've been able to get to so far is level 16 with 9810 score. I never have more than about 5 to 6 lives at any level.

Yea I hate when the ball disappears into the wall. And it always happens when you have like 15 extra lives and are on to a new high score. My high score is 32850 and I think I died somewhere around level 19 the second time around. I've made it to at least 34 about 7 times but many times the ball disappears. So annoying.

I ask again. How are you ppl getting all these extra lives? There just aren't that many given out.

You just collect them over time. I've had as many as 12, but only a couple of times. The only real "trick" (and I don't even think it qualifies as a "trick" -- probably just more coincidence than anything else) is that if you get a life on Level 1, you seem to get more "life pills" as the game progresses. Call it superstition, but if neither of the two pills on level 1 are "life", I just restart the game.

More importantly, HOW DO I GET THAT FRIGGIN' DISAPPEARING BALL BACK?!!! Level 29, 14K points (both well past my current record) and EIGHT LIVES and the ball disappeared!!!!! AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH....any help? Anyone?

I recently changed the software on my BB 8700C and I have started losing balls fairly regularly. Most recently on level 17 with 6 lives left. I have not reset the game and have been waiting about two days. Last week I was on level 16 with 12 lives left and on brick that needed on hit to go and my ball went off the reservation. I left the game on overnight and the ball came back in later the next day.

My assumptions on the question of how to get more lives... "Life"'s, as all other capsules, occur randomly. It does not make a difference whether you get one, two or none on the first screen. However, if I don't have a few on hte first few levels, I usually abort. I have encountered as many as 16 before losing any and as few as 6 well into the game.

I've gotten stuck many of times. Not much you can do about it other than man up and try again. Tip: if your on catch and the ball is in the extreme corner aim the ball away from the wall otherwise its gone. Also when the bricks start coming down wait till they get a couple of clicks down away from the ceiling to hit them. Try getting stuck and 2nd round level 29 with 33000

Same here. I've now left the 8100 on for 3 days with no success. Up to 30,300 with 13 lives! One woman claimed that if she left hers on for a week, the ball would return. I'm still waiting...for the ball and a bug fix from Plazmic.

hi guys, ive been laughing out loud at some of your problems, sorry, level 16 is the hardest and uses up a lot of lives but once you get past it its easier,well a little, as for lives ive had as many as 150 and my best score is 1273000, sorry again, but now im stuck, ive reached a level where as soon as my ball hits the wall or a brick i get told to try again without any loss of live, as a consequence i cant progress any further, can anyone HELP ME PLEASE

I have twin boys that LOVE playing Brick Breaker on my BB, but they're only 6...obviously too young for a cell phone, much less a BB and they can't always have access to mine...so I'm wondering if there is an electronic handheld version made? I'm sure I can find a copy to dowload to my pc, but i really want something they can take with them or that we can dowload to their video ipods. Any suggestions??? Thanks so much!
