Default VZW DM 4.0.3.17- problem with calendar import to BB

Please Login to Remove!

I upgraded my BB to 4.2.2.196 (platform 3.0.0.84) and my DM to 4.0.3.17 and have run into two strange issues, one just an annoyance and the other a major problem. I upgraded to the new DM over the previous 4.0.2.xx and did not do a remove and clean install.

1. annoyance- with my previous DM, when I minimized, the program went to the System Tray- not any more and I have tried all the options, etc and can't find where I can set this- anyone know or has this option been removed?

2. major issue- I like to have all my calendar entries from the past two years on my BB for reference, but when I set the calendar to Outlook from wireless sync, and set the import all, then try to sync, I get an Intellisync error message after the program has read all the calendar entries and is starting to move them to my BB calendar. It says unknown error with no error code but I have to totally unload DM and DevManager, etc. using taskmanager, then restart the DM to even get connected to the BB again. Is there a file I could delete (or rename) to make this funciton work correctly without having to totally uninstall and reinstall the DM? I can do this of course, but am trying to not have to go through that pain if possible. I have a couple of third party programs (e.g. - CryptMagic) that I would have to reinstall as well to get the plugin for syncing with the BB again.

Thanks for any help.
