Angry Outlook Calendar Sync Not Working

Please Login to Remove!

I am using an 8130, attempting to use Intellisync (wired) to sync with Outlook 2003. It has worked for six months fine, but has suddenly stopped. Synching tasks, contacts, and memos works, just not calendar. I do not get an error message - synching completes, but just skips the calendar sync job. Any thoughts on how to get it working again?

Yes - DM 4.3, most up-to-date from my carrier, Sprint.

Follow these instructions and delete the calendar and re-sync and see if it works.

By the way you can use any DM you want it doesn't have to be from Sprint. The most current is 4.6.

I'm not sure if that is a good idea because I can't even synch my calendar to Outlook to perform the back-up properly. I don't want to delete my whole calendar or else I will lose all events I have in my BB that are not yet in Outlook. It's been a few weeks since I last synched, and I don't want to lose those calendar events.

Ok then, first I would back up Outlook to say a pst file, just export it, so you have a back up of that. Then try and download a new version of DM and sync to see if it fixes the problem.

Check in Options-->Advanced-->Default Services--> Calendar. Mine had to be setup to to the account that is linked to Outlook. (If you setup something like Yahoo first, that will be default)
