Hello, I am having a weird problem with my aim on my blackberry 8320. I have os 4.5 and aim version 2.1.3.2. It seems its either the network that is lagging because I do not receive messages directly to my phone for some odd reason. Unless i keep going to the status and change it to available then my ims will popup or sign off then back on to receive msgs on my AIM. I was wondering if anybody is experiencing this problem. I also reinstalled the AIM on my phone.

Check under the General Discussions for the main thread. So far it's a carrier-wide problem.

sounds like it =/ even sidekicks are experiencing lag =P

im not too sure what is going on.. i wish somebody else would post to say if they are having same problems... aim works.. everything loads... can send ims just not receive them until i change status to available and then everything works. but i have to keep going to available status to see new ims =/

As mentioned above, BeeJive is working fine on AIM so it has to be RIM's problem. Contact your carrier and ask them to submit a ticket with RIM support.

its fixed =) i was just wondering if anyody else was having the same problem. so i wouldnt look dumb calling them oh we never seen this problem before.. thanks anyways guys!

Over the past few days I've noticed the RIM AIM app not working at times. Same problem as before - no list updates and incoming IMs. Problem is I have no confidence using the app since I don't know when it's working or not. I hate missing buddy IMs.

Is anyone else seeing this problem? BeeJive seem to work almost 100% of the time.
