Default Ascendo DataVault - refresh question and multi-CPU questions

Please Login to Remove!

ITEM 1:
I downloaded the latest DataVault version 4.4 and installed it on my new PC for free. I then plugged in my BB8830 and it seems to sync just like it did on my old computer, but I now get a message each and every time that says,

"You are about to sync information,....,when the process has completed, start DataVault on your blackberry and select "refresh" from the main menu to display updates." And then it requires me to hit an "OK" button.

However, it is not necessary to refresh! The handheld gets updated without the need to hit refresh. So why does it say this? Before I check the box to "Don't show again", I just want to understand it, I guess.

ITEM 2:
When I originally bought DataVault, it was version 4.2 (for my old computer and my BB8830). After I installed the v4.4 on my new computer, it did not update my handheld; it is still version 4.2. Is this causing that sync message I described above? I don't recall the newer version 4.4 asking me to update the blackberry. Is this necessary? How can I update my BB from 4.2 to 4.4 (if I even need to)?

ITEM 3:
Do some of you sync between your BB and two different computers? If so, I presume that both desktops must have the same version of DataVault. If this is allowed and causes no harm, then maybe I'll start sync'ing with my home computer as well -- to keep data on my BB, on my work CPU, and on my home CPU. Thoughts?

THANKS!
