Unhappy JVM ERROR Train Wreck!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi fellow destroyers of BlackBerrys!!

I have a 8300 BB here that quite simply does not want to work. It has given not one, not two, but three seperate JVM Errors on various occasions. The three codes that I have recieved are 561, 507 and now 535.

The first error I got was the 561, I got rid of this by wiping it with JL CMDER. That gave me the 507, I then proceeded to load the OS again which should work....but instead I got an unexpected error while loading the OS, I tried this at least two or three times and the same thing happens and the device still showed the 561.

Having come back in this morning I tried a hard reset on the device and for some reason got a 535?? I tried to reset from here and it just loops that 535 error...I am going to try and OS load from here but this BlackBerry doesn't seem to want to work so I doubt it will.

Any ideas? Does anyone know what the 561 Error is? it occured whil loading one of the MOD xxxxxxx.COD files or something???

BTW If anyone does know how to fix this you are officially a GOD!!!!

Wirelessly posted (8320 Titanium)

Did you look up the error codes in the FAQ??

http://blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Main_Page

I don't know if that one is in there, but its worth a look.

I have had a look on a few JVM lists I found else where but could not find the one on the FAQ page???? If you give me a direct link I would love to have a look.

BTW I just read my own post and the 561 is occuring in the MDS not MOD.

Ok so I have one or two developments, I changed some of the app loading settings so that it did not include the MDS part. This seemed to work at first, but it then got a JVM Error 535 during the connection phase. The error then gave me a whole bunch of options to do a "catfail" a ton of other stuff including the RAM stats and something else......quite frankly WTF does this all mean lol?????

I tried a few its still connecting but all I have is a reset option which just makes it cycle?

I hope someone has an idea of what to do.

thanks in advance.

Have you tried wiping the device with JL_Cmder again to get back to the 507 error and starting again?

Wipe out the BB totally.

Start here -> How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ

The BB will show an error 507 - that means there is no operating system installed.

Then restart Desktop Manager and load the OS.

Yes I have tried it several times. I just tried using the app loader directly rather than through DM and got the following...

and a 547 Error
"flash write failed:
p+1da0014, o=1d71, v=37<77>

scroll for available commands

*options for reset etc*"

Any ideas

Make sure you BB and USB are plugged to the REAR ports of the PC.

Not a USB hub, not a USB port on the monitor. The messages "multi-stage blah blah" is in regards to a low-powered USB port.

Good luck.

Default laptop usb

I only have a laptop...and I have changed the power settings so that the USB ports do not save power... But I'm still having the same problem with multistage loading error. What do I do now please?
