Hi wonder if anyone can help with an issue i'm having.

My other blackberry used to predict the email address i was sending to as i was typing it, by pulling all contacts beginning with the first letter i type from my local contacts list.

My new blackberry doesnt do this!

Any ideas where i'm going wrong? is there a setting i've missed?

Its a BB 9000 Enterprise Activated.

oh and to add to this.. it was only activated 2 days ago, has never worked on this device (its new anyway), and i've tried a hard reset (battery removal).

Who is your carrier?

Check that your address book is in sync. If not its always worth just doing a hardwire sync using DM to kick it back in.

The carrier is Vodafone. I'm checking it is in sync now, and if not will run through the hardwire sync and let you know the results.
