Default 4.5 Keyboard shortcut questions

Please Login to Remove!

Compared to 4.2:
1) I used to be able to go directly to address book by pressing and holding SEND key (Green) from home screen, not so on 4.5
2) Is there a keyboard shortcut for Ping?
3) Looks like I cannot lock the device with ALT+ENTER anymore. If not, didn't RIM add auto lock feature to 4.5?

If you have only one language installed alt+enter should still work.

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Go to phone
Options
Set dial to homescreen to NO and let's see what happens.

You mean Dial from Home Screen... No, it doesn't make any difference. Still ALT+ENTER will not lock the phone! Now it only just hits enter, before the language selection was showing up. I turned that off, still no good!

Still NO GO.
This is very inconvenient! I have to go into menu and use keyboard lock button every single time.. I don't think everyone has this problem, if they did, there should have been a topic about this....

PS: another big MINUS for 4.5
I cannot go into ADDRESS BOOK by pressing and holding CALL/SEND key anymore! Nobody commented on this either.

I have 8300, not 8100.
I started using stand by instead of locking it, but that doesn't work for me because then Pings are ignored!
