I'm not a programmer but I need to do this, somehow:

My trackball on the 8800 broke, so when I push it, it types "UI" instead of selecting. In addition, my back button types "HL" instead of going back through pages.

My question: How can I reprogram these two buttons to their original function?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like you got the device wet...have you looked at the thread regarding drying out your wet BB???
