Try this test - go into the Messages applicatoin and 'Compose PIN'. Address it to your brother's phone and send it (put 'test' or something in the Subject).
After you send it, and when he receives it, you should see a D above the checkmark (checkmark indicating a sent message in the Messages app). If he receives it, can he reply back to you? |
juwaack, we can communicate with each other without any problems. I'm not sure how/why, but the last time that I tried to add him to my Messenger contacts by PIN, it worked. Unfortunately, he still can't get me into his contacts. So he either has to keep an old conversation open or wait for me to message him.
As I understand it, he opens BB Messenger, selects "Add Contact", and then either enters my BB PIN or my email. Unfortunately, I get the following email on my BB:
========================
Subject: BlackBerry Messenger Add Request from Matt
-----xxx65532;----
[MY PIN HERE]
If you don't currently have the required application on your device, please visit "BlackBerry.com/messenger" to learn more about this service.
Once you've installed BlackBerry Messenger, return to this message to accept this request.

Even when I previously tried to add him, I'd get similar types of emails when he's accepted.
This has me very confused.
