New guy here, and right away, problems...
I'm having problems installing the software for my new 8330.
I've tried both the CD and the on-line installs, and have also checked the help files on-line for this issue.
Every time I try to do the Desktop Manager, it will unload, unzip, and start the install, and then halt when it cannot find the right database file.
Error opening installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable.
On-line help offers a solution, where you change the C:temp file to C:TEMP2, which I did (and re-started) according to directions, but I still cannot get the software to load.
I have a C:TEMP and a C:TEMP2 file, but when I do the recommended %TEMP% search, I come up with a file not found error.
Any suggestions? I bought this device so I could sync with my daily planner, and I really need it!
