Default Wiping addressbook doesn't clear contacts - DM 4.7 and BB Bold

Please Login to Remove!

Having trouble with duplicating contacts on my BlackBerry.

I would like to completely wipe my contacts - so I downloaded DM 4.7.

Going to Backup / Restore and Advanced I can clear my Address Book (two show - Address Book and Address Book - All)

When I go back into my BB Bold I still see contacts.

I'm not able to synch over the top of these (by telling the synch program to wipe first) - my contacts still stay.

Now, yes, I do know about wiping my device but would greatly like to avoid having to reload all third party applications.

Thoughts?

Default

Possible that my problem is related to Missing Sync (terrible program that doesn't work on the Bold in my experience). Spotted this message thread on another forum:
