Default DM crashes with vista

Please Login to Remove!

I'm at my wits end.... Can't seem to figure this out.

BB 9530 with the latest OS.
Any DM version, (currently running 4.2 sp2)
Windows vista 32bit
  • tried deleting the intellisync folder
tried completely removing & reinstalling DM "as administrator" and setting the shortcut to run as admin
    tried wiping the device
tried deleting the databases off the device and re-syncing
turned off UAC before installation of DM

The device will sync part of the time and other times will crash.

The following is the error.

Quote:
Faulting application DesktopMgr.exe, version 4.2.2.14, time stamp 0x4630d383, faulting module olmapi32.dll, version 12.0.6315.5000, time stamp 0x4824a985, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0004f511, process id 0x9d0, application start time 0x01c95f0bd8a21147
Below is the sync log.

Can't figure out what is causing the olmapi32.dll module to fail and not sure what to do to fix it. On another note it syncs fine on an XP machine.

Please help!!

The windows vista has nothing to do with it. Try uninstalling dm and reinstalling it. Try again after reinstalling.

And the only way to access administrator on vista is by running command prompt as admin then typing net user administrator/active: yes then logging into the administrator account.
