Recently upgraded to a Curve 8320 from a 8700. I am running desktop manager 4.5 and OS4.5.110.
When I upgraded my Curve OS and restore the device I have lost all my emails.... SMS messages are still there but no emails. Very inconvenient!
Reload the back up file still no emails...This problem only started about 2 months ago, prior to this it would restore all my old emails.
Any ideas why this should happen?

It shouldn't.

Look at DM > Restore/Advanced. Pull up the latest backup and what do you see from the old Messages Database?

Can you restore it to the device?

Seem to have solved the problem by upgrading to DM 4.7.
I would like to get my old messages back on to my 8320 though. The message databases appear to be intact in my previous back ups. I couldn't find a way to just restore the message database though.
Is there any way to add previous message databases to my current one?
