Sorry if I missed a thread, but I've been searching for hours, and can't find anything for my situation...


I've got a laptop running Vista Pro 64, and I can't find any modem drivers that will work to let it tether to the BB 8100 Pearl to allow Internet access.

I found an article online which spoke of loading modem drivers from c:\program files\common files\Research in motion\Modem Drivers, but every time I go there, it tells me that the modem drivers aren't 64 bit compatable....

I tried the version 4.2 BB software that came with the phone, and I downloaded the latest, 4.7 from RIM, and I get the same thing.

Any hints? Am I missing something obvious? Sorry, and thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
