Default Blackberry OS upgrade problems

Hey everyone, I recently updated my Curve 8320 to the new 4.5. Everything was going perfectly but near the end... I think the end, after things were installed, the BB Desktop software restarted my Curve and all it has done now for 30mins is sit there with the spinning hour glass. Don't know what to do. Any help?

DO NOT DISCONNECT!!!! it did this for an hour for my phone when i upgraded....that's just how long it takes. if you disconnect your blackberry, all hell will break loose! just let it sit and do its thing!

a similar situation....WHAT IF...your 8110 installs the device software, but when it goes to reboot, it never turns back on...it simply gives the red led light and white screen, but never sucessfully boots back up...it gives the desktop software "error connecting to device"??? i havent been able to update my 8110 pearl from 4.3 to 4.5.
