Our small office has a Windows Server 2003 (R2, Standard Edition, SP2) machine running Terminal Services. We have BlackBerry Desktop Manager 188.8.131.52 installed which syncronizes with two Blackberries over USB (the users login using Remote Desktop client).
There have been two recent occurances where the server restarted following a synchronization with the Blackberry Curve 8310 (v184.108.40.206 platform 220.127.116.11, I think). Both of these times there was an incoming phone call during the synchronization process, though the call wasn't answered. The synchronization appears to have been successful (I hate how it just disappears when it is done, without giving an "A-OK" message). The server restarted when the BlackBerry was unplugged. The Event logs for System and Application don't have any entries at the time of restart.
In the past we'd tried a later version of BlackBerry Desktop Manager and there was an issue with it, the Windows Server 2003, and the third-party application with synchronize Contacts and Calendar with (AgentOffice). So I'm not too keen on just upgrading right away.
Anybody else have problems with incoming phone calls causing crash / restart issues with Desktop Manager? Any suggestions?
