Default GroupWise BlackBerry Resource Kit. - 11-03-2005, 04:48 PM

I'm new to GroupWise/eDirectory and have been trying to use the BB Resource Kit v4.0.2 to add GW users to my BES with no luck. The BlackBerry Manager can find and add users from my GroupWise system, but the resource kit BESUserAdminClient reports "Error Code -19 Get user info failed". I've tried a variety of user name forms with no luck. I can use AdminClient to perform other operations on BB Manager added users so things seem to be setup correctly.

Has anyone been able to do this? What form of username should I use?

One thing made me pause...when I installed the AdminServer, it asked for a GWUserID, but no password or GroupWise server name. So how does it know where to look for a groupwise server? If it's using the BB server config files then it has access to my trusted application key and other config info, so why does AdminServer need a GWUserID? If it's using BB manager functions then why wouldn't it work since the BB manager can do what I want?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
