Default Service book hacks - 12-28-2004, 11:50 PM

I noticed that if you backup one device, you can do a selective restore on another and send your service books to it. I did this today when the BES wasn't sending down the browser service book for a new 7510. I don't know what this would do on another device maybe turn the browser on when it isn't normally enabled?

Do the service books contain any authentication information or does it just turn things on and off?
