This is a great thread. I especially like the ALT+I to only display incoming messages. Does anyone know if there is a way to make this the default mode for viewing messages? It sort of bothers me how all the sent mail gets lumped together with incoming mail.

No. You cannot start in that mode, but lucky for you it's awfully easy to type Alt-I, Alt-O, Alt-S/T, whatever.

Here's another shortcut that can be useful.

When in a message that has the "More available" line, you can hit the "m" key to download the rest of the message.

How can you page-down down in the Browser? I hate having to use the scroll wheel.

Good to use if you are having poor/weak signal

edit: edit ** 2

Is the radio status screen the status screen under options? I am typing REJ and nothing is happening. I have a BB 7520. Thanks.

Has this question been answered? I did this with my signal strength and like it.

the Alt + nmll switches the signal strength meter from bars to a db level. Is there a similar combo that will display the battery strength in % rather than bars?

Yes, it has been asked many (many) times before. There is no key combination to show the battery in % rather than bars.

Doesn't work on the 7100, which model do you have?

You can see the battery % as a number by going to the phone screen and entering #4357* on the BB 7250 at least. The battery % left appears at the very bottom. I know it doesn't show it up in the corner like the signal strength, but it's something.

I'm not sure if this is documented anywhere, but on the 7100 if you hold down * it will enable the keylock and holding down # will enable vibrate mode.

CAn a person add "folders" like a windows app to store icons in that you don't want to "hide" but want to clean up the screen?
