Default Transfer calendar from Treo 700p to BB Tour

Please Login to Remove!

I installed DM last night (I'm not sure what version it is--but it's what was on the CD that came with my Tour (on vzw) that I purchased last week.

Then I connected my Palm Treo 700p and Tour via their respective cables. In DM, I clicked on the transfer wizard to transfer my contacts, calendar and tasks.

DM shows me the wizard--the first screen being the one that tells me to make sure both devices are connected. I click "next" and the wizard just completely locks up. Does anyone have any ideas?

TIA!

Disconnect the Tour for now, and run the Switch Device Wizard again.

And look DM > Help > About, and see if you have DM version 5.0

I've disconnected the tour several times, I've rebooted and then restarted DM and run the SDW--it hangs every time. This morning, I booted up, started DM, connected both devices and started the SDW--then went and got my shower and got ready for work. When I came back after all of that (about 45 minutes), it was still stuck there and the Wizard's title bar said "Not Responding".

This is a WinVista Home Edition (32 bit) machine.

OK, let me try this again.

Disconnect the Tour, and run DM without the Tour connected. It will or should get to the switching point where it will ask for the Tour, THEN connect the Tour and proceed.

If that doesn't work, reboot the PC from off; With the BB powered on, remove the battery and allow it to reboot. Now, try it all over again--one device at a time.

Wirelessly posted

Never mind. I found something on the BB website which seems to indicate that the version of Palm Desktop that I have is too new (even though I've had it for about 2 1/2 years).

I was able to find a program that exported my PIM data to CSV files and I imported that into Google. I'm using Google Sync on my BB.

Thanks for trying anyway.
