Ok I've tried to download the newer bbm 5.0 several times from the bb appworld. Every single time I have tried it the download status bar goes all the way to the end right before it tells you its about to start installing the app. Well when it gets here it shows the hour glass for ever and finally freezes my phone up every single time.

I tried researching a little on here and can't seem to find an answer to what I need to do. I'm using a bb 8330 with 4.5.

Should I delete the older version off my phone and then try? Kinda hesitant in doing this as if it still doesn't work I don't want to deal with the hassle with getting the old version back. But if someone knows this is a common problem then I'll do it.

And is the new bbm that much better? Is it even worth all the fuss?

Thanks in advance guys!

Go to that link from your BB browser. From there you can download BBM.

from your device browser, it should take you to the same page as the above link... but both will work.
