When I receive a picture, saved it and then click on the View button in BBM only a white screen comes up, but no picture, although it's there and saved properly. When I open the picture with the picture viewer there is no problem.
Any idea how to fix it? Re-installing BBM 5 didn't help.

That's because the user that took the picture took it in BIG resolution and the picture came up as 300K of data and it will take a loooooooong time to be sent to your phone.

BBM5 to BBM5 picture sends are in full resolution and are not reduced like in messenger 4.5.

Your solution will be to tell you buddy to put his/her camera in small size and fine res. That will give you a pic that will be 35K or so and will be sent quickly.

Your picture came up white because it was not downloaded yet because it took very long time, it was an empty pic in the moment that you tried to open it.

Saimon7777, I appreciate your reply, but that's not the problem. When I receive a photo in messenger I have to accept or decline. Once I accept, the is dowloaded. Only after it's downloaded I have the view option in messenger, which only gives me a white screen, although the picture has been downloaded and saved already.
Anyhow, tried with a small 33.5kb picture just to make sure. Same white screen.
