I have BES 4.1.6, some of our users have upgraded to BBM5 and lost the functionality to send files. The option disappeared from the menu for sum and those who have the option in the menu cannot send!

I tested this my self and noticed that the option disappear on does not work after we activate the device with the server.

Any ideas?

What maintenance release do you have installed with 4.1.6? We have 4.1.6 MR4 and I have a Tour with BBM 5 (and beta 5.0 OS) and I am able to send a picture ok.

I'm running v4.1.6.20 which is MR5

I just upgraded the server to MR7 and still users are not being able to send files through bbm.
We have one particular user which upgraded bbm to 5 which cause the send option to disappear and then downgraded 4, the option is back again but sending fails with the following message:
Not allowed to send file type .jpg
