Default Blackberry Personal Email

Please Login to Remove!

I use Yahoo Go! for only one purpose only - to access my Yahoo email. Yahoo Go will stop functioning on 1/12/2010.

I assume I have two choices :

1) I can use the Blackberry browser to get to to Yahoo mail. Even if I bookmark it, it is still too many clicks to get there. Is there a way to place a URL shortcut directly on the BlackBerry screen ?

2) Set up a personal Yahoo email account. This one is puzzling, I am sure it is trivial to set it up but I failed. I already have access to company email. If I go to "Personal email Set Up", a browser opens and the page tells me that I need to create an account to begin sending and receiveing email. I dont want to create a new account; I expect it would ask me about the POP and SMTP server. Am I doing something stupid ?

I have Blackberry Bold (the old one), OS 4.6.0.167

Thank you.

Most likely you need to set up a BIS account with ATT. Do you have a BB data plan?

Check the FAQ for more info.

Well, then create your BIS account and then you can integrate your Yahoo account with BIS.
