Default RBRO hack, and Restoration of 3.7 - 08-30-2004, 08:16 PM

So is there an RBRO type hack for 4.0, or has that gone away due to the possibility of mds? Also what's the best way to restore back to 3.7 if for whatever reason I wanted to?

By the looks of it the RBRO hack is part of/built into the 4.0 OS. If you download the Java loader app from the Blackberry web site that should allow you to wipe your device and re-install an OS if I remember correctly.

If it's built in, I still can not view html type pages, and can't even view this webpage anymore using 4.0 :( I get the 500 error even after clearing the Cache, was hoping for a work around like the RBRO hack. Any idea's?

I bet there is a RBRO hack, but its no longer rbro. Possibly because it was so widely advertised on forums, that RIM chose to name it something different ;)

What carrier are you with? If the carrier hasn't updated the gateway "stuff" 4.0 OS is the same as 3.7 ( browsing wise ).

So for me, until AT&T updates to 4.0, I will not see HTML sites?
