Default 7105 Downgrade OS

Please Login to Remove!

I finally broke my 7100t and am heartbroken. I resisted upgrading the os from 3.8 because of the bluetooth headset issues. Anyway, so I relented and replaced the broken unit with a 7105t. Immediately, I noticed the sound level was much lower, due to the 4.0.xx OS. So, I tried to downgrade to 3.8. No go! I even tried wiping the system using javaloader, deleting the vendor.xml file and doing a clean install. Still not happening. Error says something like os is not designed for hardware. Is there any way to downgrade this unit to 3.8?

I don't believe there was 3.8 code released for the 7105 only 4.0. Hence the hardware incompatability. Why don't they just replace it with another 7100t?

that probably would have been the smart thing to do. I guess that is the trade off for the better screen. I'll just have to hope that 4.1 corrects the issue.
