Default Blackberry 7280 as an internet proxy

Please Login to Remove!

I use my Blackberry Browser - paid for by my company - to browse the internet etc while away from the office. Itworks well enough - and it's paid for which is nice - but it's not a fully functional thing in the sense that I can't do banking and other things that require either java or SSL.

I read the post on this site talking about the Blackberry as a modem - and the 7280 is not supported - but is there any way to use it as a web proxy for a laptop? It seems to me - that if the Blackberry can recieve HTTP traffic - it could simply proxy that info to the laptop for use within the browser.

Do any of you know about a way to do this?
