Question What happened in latest Desktop Manager update?

Please Login to Remove!

I allowed BlackBerry Desktop Manager to auto-update twice this week, and I now regret it. The only change I've observed has been the loss of the ability to tranfer photos between my Curve 8300 and my PC. There used to be an option (I beleive it was called "Media Manager") for doing this, and it's now missing. There is a "BlackBerry Media Sync" option for transferring MUSIC, but it doesn't work ("unable to download installer"), and I'm more interested in photos than music anyway. What's the point in being able to take photos with your phone if you can't retrieve them? Any suggestions on how to recover the old functionality? Thanks.

You can retrieve them, if stored on a micro SD card instead of main memory.

For what it's worth, I'd say most did not or seldom used the media manager app and instead just used the my computer to drag and drop files with the BlackBerry in mass storage mode.

Mass storage mode worked great. Thanks for the suggestion!
