Hi,

Does anyone know when version 4.1 of the handheld software might be available for the vodafone 7100v ?

Also has anyone successfully installed the 7100i 4.1 software on the 7100v yet ?

Hi,

As mentioned in a thread half the page down 7100V and RIM 4.1 OS

No official word on Vodafone as yet and if it's the same as with other software versions it's almost certainly not going to be until after it's released in the states.

As to the 7100i software my understanding is it's atotally different technology to standard 7100's although I haven't looked at the specs so it wouldn't work, however when someone like TM or one of the other carriers that are on the same network type have a version of 4.1 available it should install on the 7100v once you locate and remove vendor.xml file
