Default Application Loader "Lite" - 01-13-2005, 02:11 PM

RIM talks about being able to run Application Loader "Lite" from a network share after BES has been upgraded to 4.0 and the handheld is at 4.0. Does anyone know where this software is and how to install it? I've searched on RIM site as well as my BES server and I can't seem to find anything. I'd like to begin removing Desktop Manager from user's desktops and point them to Application Loader "Lite" when they need to load an app. Thanks!

For those interested.....
I spoke with RIM about this today. After you install Desktop Manager, it creates a folder at "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader". You then can take that AppLoader folder, place it on a server share and the end user can run the "loader.exe" file straight from the server to install any applications that they might need to install. The only thing is they must have the Blackberry Handheld Manager installed locally on their computer. But this way they don't have to have the full install of Desktop Manager installed on their desktops.
