Question Is the Blackberry range Symbian compatible

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

I'm new to the blackberry range & wanted to know is the phones software 'Symbian' based or an alternative?

I am trying to install Garmin Sat nav software onto the phone.

On the Nokia range it was very easy, however, installing on the Blackberry its a challenge to say the least.

If anyone has successfully installed garmin I would like to know.

Thanks.

Default

Symbian apps are not compatible with BlackBerry devices.
BlackBerry devices run a proprietary OS developed by RIM.

You'd need to install the Garmin app that was specifically developed for a BlackBerry device, if it exists.
