You want to upgrade the operating system, I assume.


Be aware you are using a relatively ancient model as these things go. OS 4.5 is the latest for you. Find the latest OS thread at the top of the legacy model forum, if there is one there for your version of the 8700.

There is no OS 5 for the 8700.
The latest version can be found here - Latest OS: 8700 4.5.0.313/4.5.0.188 (Multilanguage)
