Default No new Bluetooth profiles on 7100g with HongKong 4.1

Please Login to Remove!

I installed last night and apart from a minor Themes problem which I fixed easily, everything is working great.

I noticed people mentioning they saw new Bluetooth profiles after the upgrade, I only see handsfree and headset as before 4.1.

Is this just bad luck or is there something I can do to enable the extra BT features?

It's not a HUGE deal to not have them but am just curious....

Sorry if this has been posted before but I haven't been on the forums for a long time...

I had this thing on a Corp BES about 7 months ago but have since deleted all service books, etc. Also when on my BES, my company didn't have any policies for the BB (they didn't even require a PW!).

So unless the ghost of my previous BES is roaming inside, I can't think of another reason.

Look in options/security/general settings. If you have a policy you will see it at the bottom of the screen. If you do a search for policy.bin, you will find a link to the remover.

Well I did have an ITpolicy. Found the instructions on removing it, and it is gone now...no ITPolicy is shown in Options/Security - but guess what?? I still don't have the 2 new BT profiles...

Anybody been able to get them through this process?

Yep, that's what I don't have on my TMO 7290. Anyone with a TMO 7290 have those entries?
