i have BB 7230 T-mobile
i can only log to the mobile using password and i cant cancel this option
so i tried to reinstall the os.
and i'm getting the messege:
No additional applications designed for your device were found
and dont get the advanced option to reinstall the os.
what can i do?

might be a security Policy...check Under Security, if it is, then you probably have to get rid of it from BES.

cand diable the password in "security"
and it's stand alone bb without a ebs

What OS release do you have?
Have tried a newer OS release if there is one newer than what you have?

Two things:

1) You bought a BlackBerry with an existing IT Security Policy that the prior owner didn't have removed. Search the boards for a thread about removing IT policies and that should help.

2) Download the latest production version of the handheld (7230) software. Execute the downloaded program. That will take care of the "No additional applications designed for your device" message.
