i have a 7100g and i keep getting "1720 windows installer error" when i try to download the software to my desktop. i tried downloading from the included cd and also from the net, but neither works. My installer on my computer does not have problems with any other program, so i am at a loss. anybody have any ideas? any help is appreciated, thank you.

Did you even try a Google search on "1720 windows installer error"??? It probably took you longer to type your message than it takes to find out the answer via Google.

Windows Installer error 1720 - There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

If you cant run the install from the CD, or from a copy you downloaded, then you have a problem with your Windows Installer. You will find more answers for Windows Installer problems on a Microsoft forum.

Download the latest version of the Windows Installer (v3.1) from the Microsoft Windows download web site.
