Default Avoiding click on a button in BB browser

Let's say I open a web page that has some text and a single button.

When I first open a web page, the "cursor" is nowhere and I can push the wheel to get the browser menu.

But if I scroll the wheel, the "cursor" moves to the button on the page and if I push the wheel, it clicks the button.

Is there any way to get the browser menu to pop up once I am on the button? Scrolling the wheel does nothing - it just stays on the button.

What happens if you press the spacebar? Generally, on a web page, this will page down and you should be able to get to the menu with the trackwheel.

Try ALT+trackwheel. This should bring up the menu without activating the button.

Hope this helps.
